The SKL14 system consists of the following key parts:
SKL14 (W14) Tension Clamp: A spring steel clip that holds the rail firmly onto the tie plate, providing elastic force and ensuring a secure connection.
Angle Guide Plate: Placed under the tension clamp, this component guides and supports the rail laterally, transferring loads to the sleeper.
Plastic Dowel: A plastic insert pressed into the concrete sleeper to provide a secure point for the screw spikes.
Sleeper Screw and Washer: Used to fasten the system to the concrete sleeper through the plastic dowel.
Rail Pad: An elastic mat, typically made of rubber or polyurethane, placed between the rail and the sleeper to absorb shock, reduce vibration, and dampen noise.
