In the Nabla rail fastening system, the insulator (also known as a guide plate or nylon insulator) is a critical plastic component placed between the steel Nabla clip and the rail foot.
Nabla insulator is also known as Nabla Railway insulator,Nabla Nylon insulator,Nabla guide plate,Nabla railway spacer and Nabla plastic insulator. This square insulator is being widely used in Nabla rail fastening system. It is installed between rail clip and steel rail.The function of this insulator is adjusting rail gauge and insulate the rail from the clips. Nabla insulator, as a component of the Nabla fastening system, accompany with the Nabla clip and rail bolts.
Nabla insulator is of the same use as a rail pad, but it is thicker than rail pad. The raw material of it is reinforced Nylon 66 which is also called PA66. PA66 insulator has good performance. It can be made into various rail insulators. The insulators are used in E type fastening, SKL rail fastening and Nabla fastening system .
